Get to Know Me
Understand Who I am, My Photographic Style, and How I Shoot, Edit And Interact With My Clients.
I’m a clean edit, editorial storytelling photographer. What does this mean? I have spent years honing my photography skills to capture the cleanest, sharpest images with mostly true to life color. What is an editorial storytelling photographer? A blending of fashion-magazine aesthetics with authentic love to create intentional, artistic images. Emphasizing movement, light, shadow, and thoughtful composition for a curated feel, with a goal to mix careful posing with genuine emotion and interactions for an elevated final gallery. I want to tell your story by prompting compelling posing. I want to guide you with carefully planned interactions that result in images that can stand alone. I want every photo you share with your people to have its own wow-factor, and to show you in the most flattering light. This doesn’t mean I don’t focus on the details. I absolutely adore finding the smaller aspects of you and creatively rounding out your gallery. But I strive for those images to be able to stand alone as well.
I selectively choose black and white edits for special moments — a touch, expression, or movement — that can be elevated by the simplicity of monochrome. Often these edits are singled out, and occasionally a duplicate of their color counterpart, because sometimes they are equally beautiful. I don’t follow photography trends. I am not light and airy (overexposed). I don’t add a green, blue, orange or yellow tint to your images. And I wont be turning everything brown. I strive for bold color accuracy with contrast and creamy neutrals. You should not anticipate a gallery full of crooked horizons, blurry, out of focus images, or unintentional motion blur. I choose moments when these techniques should be applied, and use them sparingly. Trends are constantly evolving and aging. These photos are the lasting memories you hand down for generations. Those memories deserve clarity and quality.
What Can You Expect From Me?
Am I inclusive?
1
I am soooooo game for celebrating your love no matter who you are, who you pray to (or don’t), or what your traditions are. Every couple deserves an experience that fits their needs and im open to whatever you envision.
Whats my vibe as a photographer?
2
Im outgoing. I’m not afraid to guide people to pose in flattering positions. I excel at directing large groups with a loud voice and a smile. Im chatty and personable with everyone I meet. Im fast paced and will do almost anything to get the shot I envision. And im a girls girl. Most of all I want my couple to have the perfect day.
What gear do I have and how do I ensure your images are captured with care and well protected?
3
This is one of the MOST IMPORTANT questions you can ask a prospective photographer. In your search, repeat after me, “Do you have 2 camera bodies with dual card slots, and do you write to both?”
I have seen so many loved ones find out their photographer lost their photos to corrupted cards or a camera that fails without a backup. I shoot with dual full frame Canon R6 Mark II camera bodies and a range of high quality lenses. I record images to 2 cards simultaneously so in the event of card corruption I have a duplicate. After your event I upload all of your RAW images to a hard drive. Then I upload to a second hard drive as a backup until your gallery is delivered. I take great care when it comes to the precious memories i’m tasked with capturing and delivering.
How will you be able to reach me?
4
You can reach me any time via email and im happy to schedule a call whenever you need me. I will be in communication within a few months of your event with a form to complete, finalizing your timeline, shot list and wedding details for a smooth wedding day. And a guide for what to set aside for your detail photos and flat lays.
The Process
DISCOVERY CALL
Whether you’re still shopping photographers, or ready to book with me, I will schedule a zero commitment phone call to discuss your vision for the big day.
BOOKING
To officially book my services, I will need both of your full legal names and a good email for each of you for your contract. I will also need the date and location of your wedding and the package you want to book. A 40% non-refundable Retainer will follow to complete your booking. The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to your event.
WHAT NEXT?
In the weeks and months leading up to your wedding I will be in touch with an online form for you to fill out all of the finalized details, including shot list and timeline. I will also send a flat lay guide to inspire you with all the options you can include.
AFTER THE WEDDING
Wedding turnaround time is estimated at 8-10 weeks. However, it will more than likely be available on the faster end depending on the season. After you receive your gallery you have access to a storefront where you can optionally purchase prints, books and other items.
Ask yourself what you really want to remember from your day. Be thoughtful about this.
Start with the basics. Do you want a quick, simple ceremony, a full, tradition-packed service, or something in-between? Don’t forget the procession in and out. I would say a good estimate is 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Add 1-2 hours estimated for BRIDAL PORTRAITS and FIRST LOOKS with family and your partner if desired. This will include bride, bridal party, groom and groomsman getting ready portraits. If you are in different locations you will want a second shooter or extra time in this portion.
Add 1-1.5 hours for FORMAL PORTRAITS (typically done during cocktail hour). First family, then the full bridal party and then just the two of you.
Add RECEPTION time frame. Include the full duration if you want to do a grand exit or private last dance.
Add the PREP portion of your day. This will vary widely. Is it off-site or on location? Will your partner be at a different location? How many people will be in your bridal party? And how many people will be getting professional hair and makeup? You will want to give yourself ample time in this portion of your day. Your photographer should arrive at minimum 30 minutes prior to YOU are starting hair and makeup (it’s recommended to plan for one or two of the bridal party to go AFTER you in case you run behind schedule. This part of your day will be finalized later in the process when you get an estimate from your HMUA (Hair and Makeup Artists).
Add 30 minutes from the photographer’s start time to the estimated time you will start hair and makeup for dress, detail photos and flat lays.
All of these are critical questions to ask yourselves. If you know what you want, I can guide you on how much coverage you will need. The timeline will vary widely depending on the size of your wedding and bridal party. If you’re working with a Wedding Planner (recommended), they can help you lock in your timeline. If you need to exceed your anticipated timeframe by an hour or two, I have an hourly rate I can invoice after your wedding.

The festivities are over, but the day following your Elopement or Intimate Wedding can be a celebration of it’s own. This is not a boudoir session, but can be intimate. This is a next day adventure as partners. Perhaps you want to hike to a hot spring or waterfall for a wind-down from the big day. Maybe you just want to hang around the Airbnb playing board games. This is a creative session without rules.
This is a day that is TRULY just for the two of you. No stress, no timeline. This would be an excellent surprise present for your new partner as a way to relax after the big day and to celebrate that feeling of being newlyweds.

Let’s Get Started!
I will never pressure you to pick me, to raise your budget, or upsell you on a package. I will present you with your available options and allow you to make the best choice for you. When inquiring, I will send a link to schedule a Discovery Call or Facetime. If you prefer we can communicate via email, but I do encourage a call to get a feel for how I interact and if you can envision me being the person with you on your day. You won’t be added to an email list. And if you decide to move forward with another option, I promise it will be ok. My goal is to make people happy. If i’m not your person, I just want you to find them and I hope they make all of your photography dreams come true!
