Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time in your lives.
This guide is designed to help you curate items for your wedding detail and flat lay photos, ensuring your personal story is told through beautiful images that you'll cherish for years to come. Unexpected and meaningful elements blend together to round out your gallery with sentimentality. You will bring these items in a box of some kind and I will return it for your to finish getting ready on your big day.
These are IDEAS for what to include. What you choose include is what makes these special to YOU. Don’t feel like you need to bring all of the items from my list. And please feel free to include anything you feel strongly should be.
I strongly recommend 2 separate boxes. 1 for bride, sentimental items and fillers. 1 for the groom. It will make returning these items much more efficient.

Stationary, Sentimental Items and Filler
Save the Dates
Stationary - full wedding invitation, addressed envelope, and loose stamps if decorative. A fancy return address stamp is a nice touch and helps you address all those envelopes in style.
Florals - Ideally, provide a few loose floral elements. You can include a boutonniere or bridal bouquet if available at that time. Please include a decorative vase with any bridal bouquet to avoid damage.
FABRIC! A piece of fabric or ribbon leftover from dress and suit alterations are an EXCELLENT option. You will want to discuss this with your tailor and seamstress at the start of your process with them.
Photo booth photos or polaroids
Bridal magazine or wedding newspaper
Fabric from elsewhere - a small strip of fabric leftover from a centerpiece or table design, sentimental fabric from a family member, etc. (not an item needed for venue setup)
Small decor items you have leftover (think candle votive, mini picture frame, etc.) or even thrifted
Vows
Travel items - airplane tickets, hotel keys, maps, or other items for a destination wedding
Mementos giving a nod to hobbies you share, how you met, how you met, or a meaningful activity you love to do together.
Unexpected elements! Go wild. Mini disco balls, quirky tchotchkes, fruit, vintage bowls, silver letter opener, cake cutter, champagne flutes for your first toast, quite literally the sky is the limit.
